Transforming Lives One Day at a Time

At MiOWN HOME, we take a transformative, holistic approach to providing care and assisted living for displaced youth and young adults. We work in tandem with Child Protective Services and other social service agencies to create various opportunities, programs and services for the children entrusted to us to become balanced, responsible, contributing members of society.

Our Four Pillars

The Youth

MiOWN HOME empowers young people of ages 10-24 through residential treatment and transitional housing programs to be productive citizens in their communities.

The Home

We strive to provide a friendly home environment for displaced, abandoned and socially challenged  youth in need of love, guidance and transformation.

The Dream

We hope to implement a residential treatment and transitional housing program that impacts the youth by equipping them with life skills and job training programs to aid in successful independent living.

The people

We are care-driven, community-orientated and self-motivated people who are passionate about transforming the lives of our youth. We partner and work hand-in-hand with qualified professionals, agencies and organizations that share and represent our core values and vision for the youth in our community.

Transforming lives one day at a time

At MiOWN HOME, we strongly believe that taking care of our youth is a necessary combative and transformative measure that ensures long-term individual stability, mental acuity and independent living amongst young adults who otherwise would be facing a future of uncertainty, criminality and poor social responsibility.

We inspire and equip at-risk youth and their families to lead healthy and responsible lives through family-centered care, treatment, and education.

how we transform lives

We pride ourselves in our leading outpatient mental health services and prevention-based programs for both girls and boys in their youth, and residential therapy and counseling for at-risk young adults.

Transitional Housing

This program is suitable for our youth who are ready to be transitioned into a community environment and not need as much supervision as those in residential care. it allows them to attain independent living skills while pursuing employment in the community.

Therapy & Counselling

Our youth work with a licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor who provides individual and family counseling with an emphasis on transitioning back into the home community. Young men participate in weekly groups addressing criminal thinking errors, anger management, and positive social skills.
